Maddie joined Blitman & King LLP’s Syracuse office in August 2024 as a labor law and employment law associate. Maddie’s practice primarily focuses on representing public and private sector unions and their members in labor relations. Prior to her start at the firm, Maddie was a staff attorney at Legal Services of Central New York. Since being barred in New York State, Maddie’s practice record includes representing workers claiming violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the New York State Human Rights Law, National Labor Relations Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Wage and Hour Law, and New York State Labor Law. She has represented individual clients and group clients where she was able to receive positive settlement results before the New York State Division of Human Rights, National Labor Relations Board, and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Maddie received her J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2022, where she was a research assistant for Professor Arlene Kanter, an internationally acclaimed expert in international and comparative disability law. She received her B.A. in English, specializing in Creative Writing, from St. Lawrence University in 2019. Maddie attended Massena Central High School, and later The Clarkson School at Clarkson University from 2015-16.

As a native of Northern New York, Maddie enjoys spending her free time outdoors. When she is not practicing law, you can find Maddie visiting her family in St. Lawrence County, taking her corgi, Maple, for a walk, or thrifting for classic rock vinyl.
