Rebecca R. Josefiak

Rebecca Josefiak joined the firm with over a decade of experience in a wide variety of areas, including ERISA, HIPAA, CAA, MHPAEA, and extensive litigation experience.  Rebecca counsels plan sponsors of multiemployer and single-employer plans, companies, and tax-exempt entities on all matters of ERISA, employee benefits, self insured welfare benefit plans, and HIPAA issues. 

She represents multi-employer plans in the collection of delinquent contributions under ERISA, New York State Finance Law, New York Lien Law, New York Labor Law and the Bankruptcy Code. 

She obtained her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where she played lacrosse, and continued with her education obtaining her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University at Buffalo School of Law.

Rebecca was born and raised in Buffalo, and continues to reside there as a lifelong Buffalo Bills fan.
