Ginger LaChapelle to present at ABA’s ERISA Basics National Institute in Chicago, Illinois

Ginger LaChapelle will be presenting at the ABA’s ERISA Basics National Institute in Chicago, Illinois October 15-17.  This seminar is open to any individual who works with tax-qualified plans, including plan trustees and administrators.  ABA membership is not required for attendance.  Ginger’s presentation will focus on the minimum standards under ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code for tax-qualified retirement plans.   Her session will introduce and explore those standards, outlining the complicated rules with which employers and plans must comply to establish a tax qualified plan. It also will provide an opportunity to delve deeper into the qualification standards for retirement plans and to discuss with experienced practitioners any issues related to compliance with these standards.
