Blitman & King LLP Attorneys Receive Distinguished Pro Bono Service Awards

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Brian J. LaClair, a partner at Blitman & King LLP, and Nolan J. Lafler, an associate at the firm, have each received a Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award from the Volunteer Lawyers Project of Onondaga County, Inc.
LaClair and Lafler received the awards at a ceremony held on June 3, 2015, in recognition of their commitment to increasing access to justice to those in need. The pro bono work for which they were honored involved the representation of indigent and recently unemployed individuals before the New York State Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board.
Blitman & King maintains an active pro bono program and its attorneys regularly devote a considerable number of hours to pro bono work each year. Outside of pro bono work, LaClair and Lafler focus their practice on the representation of unions and individual employees, professionals, and executives in all areas of labor, employment, and employee benefits law.
